Here’s a new feud few saw coming: Sarah Michelle Gellar vs. Andy Cohen.
The Bravo mogul hit back at the Buffy the Vampire Slayer star on his Radio Andy show on Thursday after finding out that Gellar dissed the latest season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills by calling it “boring” during an appearance on Page Six Radio. Pouring salt into the wound, per Cohen, is that the show happens to record in his studio at SiriusXM headquarters in New York City.
“I guess Page Six Radio interviewed Sarah Michelle Gellar, and it was in our studio, and then they post it,” Cohen explained in calling out Page Six’s Instagram reel (seen below) titled, “Sarah Michelle Gellar is bored by this season of RHOBH.” “It’s, like, ‘Sarah Michelle Gellar hates the Housewives of Beverly Hills,’ with all this Radio Andy signage everywhere. I go, ‘You know what? Don’t bring someone into my studio to trash my show. How about the door is locked when I leave? How’s that?”
It seems that Cohen is just as peeved by Page Six Radio as he was by Gellar, adding, “Or maybe think twice about posting that all over social media where it says, like, ‘Andy’ everywhere behind SMG.” But he also had words for Gellar: “She wrong, by the way.”
During her appearance on Page Six Radio, Gellar said, “I think it’s boring” about the new season of RHOBH, she also had nice things to say about select cast members. “I mean, I like the cast. I love Rachel [Zoe], I think Rachel’s a great addition. I love Boz [Saint John]. I think it’s a great — I mean, I live for Kathy [Hilton] and Jen [Tilly]. I want a spinoff. I want a Jen Tilly-Kathy Hilton spinoff. But it’s slow. It’s just picking up now,” said the actress, who has been busy promoting the sequel to Ready or Not.
Coincidentally, Gellar was recently a guest on the Cohen-hosted Watch What Happens Live. During the viewer question segment of the show, Cohen asked Gellar if she would ever join RHOBH. “Have you not seen how boring I am?” she said. “I answer everything politely. I get out of drama. I would be the most boring housewife.”
