Ayesha Howard claims NBA star Anthony Edwards hid assets to avoid child support decision in California

Ayesha Howard claimed NBA star Anthony Edwards “intentionally” hid assets to avoid California child support obligations for their daughter, Aubri’.

According to documents obtained by Page Six, Howard filed a request for order in child support in the Los Angeles Superior Court Thursday, claiming she “discovered evidence” proving the Minnesota Timberwolves player has “substantial and ongoing business and financial presence in the State of California.”

The mom of two stated in the filing that Edwards has a business LLC and business trademarks registered in California, business infrastructure principled addressed and operational activities within the state, a bank account located in Beverly Hills and current and prior sports agency contracts connected to California-based sports representatives.

“This newly discovered evidence demonstrates that [Edwards] maintained a business, financial, contractual, and economic presence in California for approximately six years,” the docs read.

Howard stated in the motion that the evidence satisfies the “minimum contact and purposeful availment doctrine for an out-of-state parent and nexus to support obligation in a child support proceeding,” the docs read.

Howard claimed in the filing that the shooting guard, 24, “deliberately concealed and misrepresented his California connections under oath” when he gave a sworn testimony on why the state’s court “lacked personal jurisdiction over him” because he had no personal ties or business connections there.

The Instagram model is now asking the California court for a renewal of her original child support order in the Golden State because Edwards allegedly “intentionally” hid his assets, which affected the prior ruling regarding personal jurisdiction.

Page Six has reached out to Howard and a lawyer for Edwards for comment but did not immediately hear back.

In October 2024, Page Six exclusively reported that Edwards had filed a petition for paternity and child support in Georgia the month prior.

That same month, Howard — who also shares son Jason with rapper Lil Baby — subsequently revealed she had quietly welcomed a baby girl named Aubri’.

In February 2025, we reported that Howard asked for their paternity and child support case to be heard in California after the “Starting 5” star filed in Georgia.

Howard claimed in court docs that she and Edwards “spent time together in various cities while he played for the Minnesota Timberwolves, and during his off-season,” before discovering in January 2024 that she was “pregnant with his child.”

She also alleged in the docs that Edwards was not pleased when she revealed the pregnancy news to him and then blocked her from further communicating with him and urged her to “get da abortion.”

The Olympic gold medalist shares daughter Aislynn, who was born in March 2024, with girlfriend Shannon Jackson.

Edwards also allegedly fathered two other kids: daughter Aris, 2, with Daja Carlyle and son Amir, 2, with Alexandria Desroches.

He has not yet publicly acknowledged whether the children outside of his romance with Jackson are his.
