It’s been 23 years since season one of The Bachelorette debuted, and in the years since the show’s conception, ABC has tapped exactly 24 women to lead the show.
Season 22 of The Bachelorette may just be the most dramatic season of the ABC dating-to-marriage pipeline television series yet. As Taylor Frankie Paul takes the titular reins of leading the female-fronted Bachelor spinoff, the franchise is celebrating the women of its past with a special Bachelorette reunion following the 2026 Oscars.
But whether you’re curious to look back at the slate of women who chose to partake in the reunion special or just wondering who exactly has been named an official Bachelorette over the years, The Hollywood Reporter has you covered.
Below, find the full list of every single Bachelorette lead (and who received their final rose).
-
Trista Rehn (season 1; Ryan Sutter)

Image Credit: Craig Sjodin/Disney General Entertainment Content/Getty Images Trista Rehn became the first-ever Bachelorette in January 2002, immediately following the inaugural installment of The Bachelor. Her casting marked a wider trend to come for the franchise, that of the runner-up later being named the lead of the opposing gendered show.
Trista dished out her final rose to Ryan Sutter, and the two got engaged on the show. They are still together, and remain as the longest-lasting couple in Bachelor Nation. Trista and Ryan also notably partook in the franchise’s debut televised wedding. They share two children, son Maxwell and daughter Blakesley.
-
Meredith Phillips (season 2; Ian Mckee)

Image Credit: Craig Sjodin/Disney General Entertainment Content/Getty Images Meredith Phillips led The Bachelorette’s second season, and got engaged to Ian Mckee. The couple stayed together for almost a year following the airing of the series, announcing their split in February 2005.
-
Jen Schefft (season 3; Jerry Ferris, sort of)

Image Credit: Donna Svennevik/Disney General Entertainment Content/Getty Images Season three Bachelorette Jen Schefft technically chose neither of her final two men in Jerry Ferris or John Paul Merritt. She somewhat chose Jerry when the end of the season jumped to a “live” final rose ceremony where he proposed, though she turned down his proposal. Jen was the first Bachelorette lead to exit the series not engaged nor in a relationship.
-
DeAnna Pappas (season 4; Jesse Csincsak)

Image Credit: Craig Sjodin/Disney General Entertainment Content/Getty Images DeAnna Pappas got engaged to Jesse Csincsak during the finale of The Bachelorette season four. The installment aired in 2008, coming after a three-year break (season three aired in early 2005). DeAnna and Jesse went on to terminate their engagement in November 2008.
-
Jillian Harris (season 5; Ed Swiderski)

Image Credit: Mario Perez/Disney General Entertainment Content/Getty Images Jillian Harris became the first Canadian Bachelorette with the arrival of season five in 2009. She got engaged to Ed Swiderski by the end of her installment, though they called it quits in July 2010.
-
Ali Fedotowsky (season 6; Roberto Martinez)

Image Credit: Rick Rowell/Disney General Entertainment Content/Getty Images Ali Fedotowsky first appeared on The Bachelor season 14, and had a notable exit when she left during week six after her job at the time, Facebook, made her choose between keeping said job or staying on the show. Ali was then named the Bachelorette for the spinoff’s sixth season, where Roberto Martinez proposed to her by August 2010. They remained together for over a year, announcing their break in November 2011.
-
Ashley Hebert (season 7; JP Rosenbaum)

Image Credit: Matt Klitscher/Disney General Entertainment Content/Getty Images Ashley Hebert was at the forefront of The Bachelorette season seven, which ended in one of the longest Bachelor Nation relationships. JP Rosenbaum proposed to her at the end of the season, which aired in 2011, and their wedding later aired as a TV special in December 2012.
They share two children together, son Fordham and daughter Essex. After eight years being married, Ashley and JP announced they were splitting up in late 2020, and their divorce was finalized a year later.
-
Emily Maynard (season 8; Jef Holm)

Image Credit: Rick Rowell/Disney General Entertainment Content/Getty Images Before she became the Bachelorette, Emily Maynard accepted Brad Womack’s final rose on The Bachelor season 14. The installment ended in March 2011, and by June, they had split. And in early 2012, ABC confirmed she’d be the next Bachelorette lead.
Emily is the first single mother to be named a Bachelorette, and she ended the season (in July 2012) engaged to Jef Holm. They broke up by October 2012.
-
Desiree Hartsock (season 9; Chris Siegfried)

Image Credit: Francisco Roman/Walt Disney Television/Getty Images Desiree Hartsock served as the season nine lead, and she is one of a very few pool of Bachelorette’s that are still with their final rose pick. Chris Siegfried popped the question at the end of the installment, which aired in August 2013, and the two have remained together since.
Desiree and Chris wed on Jan. 18, 2015, and they share three sons; Asher, Zander and Noah.
-
Andi Dorfman (season 10; Josh Murray)

Image Credit: Javier Pesquera/Disney General Entertainment Content/Getty Images The 10th series lead was Andi Dorfman. At the end of the season (which aired in July 2014), she got engaged to Josh Murray, though they later split up a few months later in January 2015.
-
Kaitlyn Bristowe (season 11; Shawn Booth)

Image Credit: Rick Rowell/Disney General Entertainment Content/Getty Images Kaitlyn Bristowe is one of the most prolific Bachelorettes. She was the head of season 11 in 2015, though her spot nearly went to Britt Nilsson. Both Britt and Kaitlyn were named joint Bachelorettes, but the men voted her as the sole lead on their first night in the mansion. She finished the series engaged to Shawn Booth. The two remained together for a few years, announcing their break-up in 2018.
Kaitlyn went on to date and get engaged to fellow Bachelor Nation alumni Jason Tartick; they remained together from 2019-2023. She’s been speculated to be romantically linked to Zac Clark, another former Bachelorette contestant who was previously engaged to another woman on this list.
This Bachelorette notably went on to co-host the show alongside Tayshia Adams during seasons 17 and 18 amid longtime franchise face Chris Harrison’s departure. Kaitlyn is also the second Bachelorette to win Dancing with the Stars, and has remained close with the franchise.
-
JoJo Fletcher (season 12; Jordan Rodgers)

Image Credit: Matt Klitscher/Disney General Entertainment Content/Getty Images After finishing as the runner-up on The Bachelor season 20, Joelle “JoJo” Fletcher was left heartbroken when Ben Higgins infamously told both of his final two women — JoJo and eventual winner Lauren Bushnell — that he loved them. But JoJo got her second chance at love when she was announced as the lead for The Bachelorette during Ben’s live After the Final Rose special in 2016.
Her journey ended with an engagement to former professional football player and current college football analyst for ESPN and SEC Network, Jordan Rodgers — yes, the brother of longtime Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The couple married in 2022 and welcomed their first child, a daughter named Romy Blair Rodgers, in December 2025.
Following their time on the franchise, the couple has appeared on other reality TV series, including Cash Pad, Battle of the Fittest Couples and The Big D.
-
Rachel Lindsay (season 13; Bryan Abasolo)

Image Credit: Paul Hebert/The Disney General Entertainment Content/Getty Images Rachel Lindsay’s casting was one of the most historic for the franchise, making her the first Black Bachelorette. There, she got engaged to Bryan Abasolo, and the duo later got married on Aug. 24, 2019. Four years later, Bryan filed for divorce in January 2024, and a year later, their divorce was finalized.
Rachel is another standout Bachelor Nation personality, previously serving as an Extra correspondent from 2020-2023. She can be found now as a co-host of the Higher Learning podcast, continuing her prominence in media.
-
Becca Kufrin (season 14; Garrett Yrigoyen)

Image Credit: Paul Hebert/Disney General Entertainment Content/Getty Images Becca Kufrin was named the Bachelorette after her infamous breakup with Arie Luyendyk Jr., who originally proposed to her but later wed Lauren Burnham Luyendyk. On season 14, which aired in 2018, she got engaged to Garrett Yrigoyen, but they split by 2020.
But love was not lost for Becca. After joining the cast of Bachelor in Paradise’s seventh season (as the first Bachelorette to go on the spinoff after her leading season), she met Thomas Jacobs, a contestant from Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette. The men on his season accused Thomas of wanting to be the next Bachelor lead, but he ended up finding love on the beach with Becca.
They did not leave BIP together but rekindled their flame after after the show and got engaged in 2022. The couple wed in 2023, and share two children together.
Becca and Thomas are one of the most prominent examples that you can find love among Bachelor Nation, it may just not be on your original season.
-
Hannah Brown (season 15; Jed Wyatt)

Image Credit: Mark Bourdillon/Getty Images Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette is often remembered as one of the best from the franchise. Her installment itself was incredibly hectic at the end when it was revealed that Jed Wyatt, her then-fiance, had a girlfriend when he went off to filming. He also admitted that he joined the show to boost his music career.
Hannah is the first Bachelorette to win Dancing With the Stars.
-
Clare Crawley (season 16; Dale Moss)

Image Credit: Craig Sjodin/ABC/Getty Images In one of the most dramatic — and shortest — seasons of The Bachelorette, Clare Crawley led season 16. Her season became known as the “pandemic bubble” after production was delayed by COVID-19 and filmed entirely at La Quinta Resort in Palm Springs in 2020. Crawley quickly fell head over heels for Dale Moss, and the two got engaged and left the show just four weeks in. However, their whirlwind romance didn’t last, and they split in 2021. After Crawly left the show, Tayshia Adams then stepped in to replace her and continue the season for her own shot at love.
Crawley eventually found her happy ending. In 2023, she married Mascot Sports CEO Ryan Dawkins in an intimate ceremony in Sacramento, California. A year later, the couple held a legal wedding ceremony in Las Vegas. That same year, they welcomed a daughter, Rowen Lily, via surrogate.
-
Tayshia Adams (season 16; Zac Clark)

Image Credit: Craig Sjodin/ABC/Getty Images Tayshia Adams replaced Clare Crawley as the Bachelorette of season 16, after Clare left early when she met her match. The then-29-year-old had already appeared on a couple of shows in Bachelor Nation. She made it to the final three of Colton Underwood’s The Bachelor season 23. She also appeared on season six of Bachelor in Paradise and had a brief relationship with John Paul Jones after leaving the show. He was an alum of Hannah Brown’s season 15.
When Adams became the lead, her season of The Bachelorette ended happily when she got engaged to Zac Clark. However, the pair broke up roughly a year later, and he is now speculated to be dating former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe. Before they were romantically linked, Tayshia and Kaitlyn co-hosted The Bachelorette during season 17 and 18.
-
Katie Thurston (season 17; Blake Moynes)

Image Credit: Craig Sjodin/ABC/Getty Images Following Matt James’ season of The Bachelor, Katie Thurston and Michelle Young were both named the next franchise leads (in separate seasons, of course. The first double Bachelorettes came a few years later.) Katie’s season came first, and in a shocking move, Blake Moynes from season 16 joined her installment and they got engaged.
They called off their engagement in October 2021, and even more shockingly, Katie announced a month later she was in a relationship with John Hersey, a contestant from her season that was sent home during the second week. Katie and John later split in June 2022.
-
Michelle Young (season 18; Nayte Olukoya)

Image Credit: Craig Sjodin/ABC/Getty Images After being the runner-up on Matt James’ season of The Bachelor, Michelle Young was in charge of her own journey to love in 2021. Michelle chose Nayte Olukoya as her final pick. The pair got engaged but then called it off just six months later.
Following the show, Michelle found love again with Jack Leius. They became engaged in October 2023 and married in June 2025.
-
Rachel Recchia (season 19; Tino Franco)

Image Credit: Craig Sjodin/ABC/Getty Images Coming off Clayton Echard’s dramatic Bachelor season, The Bachelorette featured two women as leads in season 19. One of whom was Rachel Recchia, a pilot from Chicago. She chose Tino Franco, and the pair ended the show engaged. However, their televised breakup was shortly after Rachel found out he had kissed another woman after they got engaged and hearing inconsistent stories from Tino.
Rachel later appeared on Bachelor in Paradise season nine and Netflix’s dating reality series Perfect Match, where she had a short-lived reunion with Clayton.
-
Gabby Windey (season 19; Erich Schwer)

Image Credit: Craig Sjodin/ABC/Getty Images One half of the first double Bachelorette season was led by Gabby Windey. A fan favorite from Clayton Echard’s Bachelor installment, Gabby was an easy choice for the leading role, and she ended up engaged to Erich Schwer. Immediately following The Bachelorette, she competed on Dancing With the Stars (and nearly won), and their split was announced right before the finale of the latter series.
In early August 2023, Gabby revealed her relationship with Hacks star and comedian Robby Hoffman, whom she’s now married to. And then in 2025, she competed and won the third season of the Emmy-winning series The Traitors. Next up, she’s going to host Alex Cooper’s reality dating series Love Overboard, and she can also be found going viral on her podcast and online.
-
Charity Lawson (season 20; Dotun Olubeko)

Image Credit: Christopher Willard/ABC/Getty Images Charity Lawson’s emotional Bachelorette installment ended with an engagement from Dotun Olubeko in 2023. The couple is still going strong, planning their wedding and living in New York City. Charity’s season also gave us Joey Graziadei, her runner-up, who became the next Bachelor.
-
Jenn Tran (season 21; Devin Strader)

Image Credit: John Fleenor/Disney Jenn Tran, an alum from Joey Graziadei’s Bachelor season, made history for being the first Asian lead in the franchise. Tran’s journey to find love was dramatic, but she ultimately found what she believed was her match, Devin Strader. The pair got engaged when Jenn proposed — a first for the franchise. However, Jenn revealed on the After the Final Rose special that Devin immediately acted differently once the show was over, became distant and ended the relationship via a 15-minute phone call.
Jenn later competed on season 33 of Dancing With the Stars and sparked up a romance with partner Sasha Farber, confirming their relationship in December 2024. The couple split by June 2025.
-
Taylor Frankie Paul (season 22; TBD)

Image Credit: Disney/Sami Drasin Taylor Frankie Paul joins The Bachelorette sisterhood hailing from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, meaning she is the first lead to take the reins of the franchise while being from outside of said franchise. She will star in the 22nd season, though it’s unclear who she gave her final rose to at this point.
Before she went off to film her season and right after she was named the next Bachelorette, Taylor told The Hollywood Reporter she believes the show’s format can lead to her finding love.
“I actually do. And to be honest, that’s what’s so funny is because people can have their assumptions, but I am one that when I open my heart, I can fall pretty fast,” she said. “I think if anyone were to [find love on the show], it would actually be me, which is so funny because I’m known as chaos, right? So I may have a chance in this. I actually do think that.”
Before her season premieres, see all the photos and bios of the men competing for Taylor’s final rose here.
