Jewelry isn’t always front and center on high-profile red carpets, but that wasn’t the case Sunday evening at the Dolby Theatre, where stars attending the 2026 Oscars put an emphasis on sparkle, sometimes in unusual ways.
Since it premiered in mid-February, the popularity of FX’s Love Story has spawned a wealth of style editorials rooted in a return to ’90s minimalism, so it was easy to wonder if that trend might likewise find its way onto the Oscars red carpet. And it was indeed present in a few cases, from Renate Reinsve in sleek and unadorned red Louis Vuitton to Emma Stone’s empire-cut white beaded gown, also by the French house, accessorized only with delicate diamond earrings by Repossi.
But jewelry fans quickly could breathe a sigh of relief, as diamonds and other high-wattage gems quickly revealed themselves on the Oscars 2026 red carpet. While brooches were seen on the lapels of several stylish men, the surprise was in how some men extended their jewelry game beyond the now-ubiquitous brooch. Among A-list women, meanwhile, one trend excelled beyond all others: the statement necklace. At past awards shows, sometimes it has been tough for bold chokers and necklaces to be included, but designs from archives and just-released collections became a top talking point Sunday night.
Who wore their sparkle best? The Hollywood Reporter is putting the spotlight on 12 stars and their dazzling jewels.
Adrien Brody in Elsa Jin

Last year’s best actor winner for The Brutalist, Adrien Brody has long favored the work of jewelry artist Elsa Jin, who recently relocated from Florence, Italy, to a New York studio. Jin’s modernistic work is unlike traditional jewels typically seen on tuxedo lapels — and perhaps that’s precisely why Brody enjoys wearing these artful pieces also seen with his look at the 2025 Oscars. At this year’s Oscars, he wore a new piece, christened Ulysses, with his Gucci tuxedo. The brooch is crafted of titanium and embellished with one sapphire totaling 20.05 carats and 1,279 diamonds totaling 125.84 carats.
Elle Fanning in Cartier

For Elle Fanning, a favorite memory is the wisteria found around her childhood home in Conyers, Georgia. To accessorize her custom Givenchy by Sarah Burton gown — which featured a wisteria embroidery on its bodice and hemline — Fanning discovered that a Cartier necklace from 1903 likewise was crafted to resemble wisteria leaves. The transformable design from the jewelry house’s archives is crafted of old round-cut diamonds set in platinum.
Shaboozey in Mikimoto

“It’s my first Oscars, I felt like I had to do it right,” said Shaboozey on the red carpet, and so we went all out with his look by sustainable luxury brand Campillo, which he and stylist Anastasia Walker accessorized with a vintage Briony Raymond diamond brooch and Chopard’s diamond-embellished watch from the house’s L’Heure du Diamant collection. But what truly caught the eye of jewelry fans were the pearls dangling from his waist — that was a tassel necklace by Mikimoto, fashioned to look like a waist sash or watch chain. The Akoya and Golden South Sea Cultured Pearl Skipping Rope Necklace is crafted of pearls, diamonds and 18-karat white gold and retails for $35,000.
Rose Byrne in Taffin

Founded by James de Givenchy in 1996, New York-based Taffin is a jewelry brand beloved by fashion editors, who favor its outside-the-box designs and color combinations, often set with rare stones. That was certainly the case for the necklace seen on Rose Byrne, who paired her Dior gown with a sculptural torque necklace that showcased a 22.58-carat fancy yellow-brown pear-shaped diamond from Botswana — the stone is known as a Desert diamond, part of a De Beers London initiative launched in October 2025 to highlight the beauty of natural diamonds in desert-like hues. Byrne also wore a Taffin ring highlighting a 16.54-carat Ashoka-cut diamond set in blue ceramic and 18-karat rose gold.
“The necklace centers on a beautiful yellow-brown antique-cut diamond set in dark brown ceramic,” James de Givenchy explained in a statement. “Antique cuts have a softness and irregularity that I find incredibly appealing—they reflect light in a more intimate way. The ceramic setting frames the stone with a rich depth of color, allowing the warmth of the diamond to really emerge.”
Teyana Taylor in Tiffany & Co.

The One Battle After Another best supporting actress nominee clearly has been enjoying her high-style looks throughout the 2026 awards season, and for the Oscars, Taylor once again drew raves, pairing a feather-embellished Chanel gown with Tiffany & Co. diamonds. Her “Shooting Star” necklace was from “Tiffany Céleste,” the house’s 2024 Blue Book collection, Tiffany & Co.’s moniker for its high-jewelry collections. A design by the legendary Jean Schlumberger, whose nature-inspired designs became central to the Tiffany & Co. aesthetic beginning in 1956, Taylor’s necklace was crafted of roughly 1,000 diamonds that totaled almost 60 carats — that includes the 18-carat diamond as the design’s center stone, which also can be transformed to wear as a ring.

Among the De Beers London jewels Chase Infiniti wore with her lavender Louis Vuitton gown, the sleek modernity of this choker was a perfect choice to offset the profusion of tiered ruffles on the gown’s skirt. The “Summer” diamond choker from De Beers London’s Metamorphosis high-jewelry collection consisted of 57.15 carats of white and yellow diamonds set in 18-karat yellow and white gold.
Damson Idris in Didris

Everyone loved the navy double satin evening jacket F1‘s Damson Idris wore to Oscars 2026, also because it showcased his brooch, which was accompanied by a decidedly personal backstory. Idris has been designing his collection, Didris, since 2025, a project he debuted at last year’s Met Gala. Designed and crafted in London, where the actor’s mother worked in the jewelry business, the bespoke brooch features a heat-treated natural marquise blue diamond that totals 7.41 carats, surrounded by natural and white diamonds in a variety of cuts, all set in 18-karat gold. He completed his look with a trio of rings also by Didris.
Zoe Saldaña in Cartier

The modified sweetheart necklace of Zoe Saldaña’s lace and silk gown, by Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello, provided the ideal framing for the architecturally inspired pendant on her high-jewelry necklace by Cartier. From the house’s En Équilibre Chapter III collection, which debuted in Paris in February, the necklace highlights rubies and diamonds set in platinum.
Michael B. Jordan in David Yurman

Not unlike Shaboozey, Oscar winner Michael B. Jordan was inspired to fashion a necklace into a watch chain to accessorize his custom Louis Vuitton suit — in this case, David Yurman’s 41-inch DY Mercer Double Row Toggle Chain Necklace, crafted in 18-karat yellow gold and accented with diamonds and which retails for $29,000. The actor wore a variety of jewels from the brand Sunday evening, including a brooch worn not in the traditional spot, but on the back center of his jacket collar — a lovely detail to spy if you were sitting in the second row of the Dolby Theatre.
Zendaya in Cindy Chao

Zendaya didn’t walk the Oscars 2026 red carpet, so it might have been easy to miss two key details of her look beyond her custom Louis Vuitton asymmetric draped gown. First, that was a diamond-embellished Rolex Lady-Datejust worn by the actress, a nod to the fact that she was just named as the watch brand’s latest Testimonee, or ambassador. (Leonardo DiCaprio was named a Testimonee just prior to the Oscars in 2025.) The 28mm high-jewelry timepiece retails for $177,400. Zendaya’s jewelry, meanwhile, was by Taiwan-based Cindy Chao The Art Jewel and included the designer’s Diamond Branch earrings from her White Label Collection, crafted of 84 diamonds totaling 30.22 carats set in titanium, 18-karat white and yellow gold and lacquer.
Kate Hawley in Tiffany & Co.

There was a wonderful symmetry that occurred when Kate Hawley won the Oscar for best costume design for her work in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein. Tiffany & Co. worked with Hawley and the production to provide a variety jewels worn by Mia Goth in the film — making the decision of what the costume designer would wear as her own jewels Sunday evening evidently an easy one. Hawley chose a trio of Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co. brooches from the house’s archives, designs dated between 1952 and 1970. If she was thinking they might serve as good-luck charms, the jewels succeeded nicely.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas in Bulgari

Being a global ambassador comes with undeniable benefits, one of them being that you get to be the first to wear stunning high-jewelry designs before they’ve officially made their debut. That was the case with Priyanka Chopra, who has worked with Bulgari since 2021. On Sunday evening, she paired her Dior gown with the jewelry house’s Serpenti Illusio high-jewelry necklace, a design from Eclettica, a collection that will enjoy its official unveiling in Milan on March 23. With a 14.01-carat antique cushion-cut sapphire at its center, the necklace is crafted of pavé-set diamonds, buff-top emeralds and onyx and required more than 1,300 of handcraft. Also a Bulgari ambassador since 2022, Anne Hathaway likewise debuted Eclettica jewels at Oscars 2026.
