Virginia Giuffre’s family says ‘our hearts have been lifted’ over ex-Prince Andrew’s arrest

Virginia Giuffre’s family is grateful that the ex-Prince Andrew has finally been arrested.

“At last, today, our broken hearts have been lifted at the news that no one is above the law, not even royalty,” Giuffre’s siblings — Sky and Amanda Roberts and Danny and Lanette Wilson — told Page Six in a statement Thursday.

“On behalf of our sister, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, we extend our gratitude to the U.K.’s Thames Valley Police for their investigation, and the arrest of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.”

“He was never a prince. For survivors everywhere, Virginia did this for you.”

Giuffre sued Andrew for sexual assault in 2021.

She claimed he allegedly raped her three times — starting when she was 17 — as part of the Epstein’s sex trafficking ring.

Andrew denied the allegations, and the case was settled outside of the courtroom in 2022 for an estimated $12 million.

Before Queen Elizabeth II died in September 2022, she stripped her son Andrew’s military titles and patronages.

Giuffre died by suicide at age 41 in April 2025.

She claimed she was hit by a school bus and only had “days to live” weeks before her death.

But doubts were cast about Giuffre’s claims when the Western Australia Police Force (WAPF) said there was only a “minor crash” between a bus and car in Neergabby, Australia and police said there “were no reported injuries as a result of the crash.”

Giuffre hit back at doubters as her family members insisted she was “in serious condition while receiving medical care.”

The SOAR foundation was released from the hospital six days after the crash. She died later that month.
