If you can’t wait to find out who will win at the 2026 Oscars or experience all the glitz and glamour on the red carpet, you can watch the 98th Academy Awards on TV or online in many countries around the world this Sunday, March 15. Or maybe you are most curious to see what host Conan O’Brien brings to this year’s Academy Awards ceremony in L.A.
As is tradition, ABC will be broadcasting the ceremony in the U.S., along with streaming the Oscars live on Hulu. The big show kicks off at 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. ET.
The Oscars ceremony, like the U.S. movie business overall, is very much a global show nowadays. People living or traveling in other parts of the world have various ways to watch the red carpet, awards presentations and acceptance speeches. However, the event isn’t immune from geopolitics, with the ceremony again not airing in China or Russia.
Sinners leads the 2026 Oscar nominations with a record-breaking 16 noms, including for best picture, best director and best original screenplay. One Battle After Another is also a top nominee, with 13 nods, followed by Frankenstein, Marty Supreme and Sentimental Value with nine apiece. All five of those films are up for best picture, along with Bugonia, F1, Hamnet, The Secret Agent and Train Dreams.
