Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could bring in a whopping $10 million by speaking at events and making brand deals during their tour in Australia.
“Meghan and Harry could make money from audience aggregation, premium access, brand leverage,” Ted Jenkin, Managing Partner of Exit Wealth Advisors, exclusively told Page Six.
“All totaled, this tour could fetch $10 million or more for Meghan and Harry,” Jenkin believes. “Anytime these two get in the public eye, it usually follows with a flowing cash register.”
Jenkin broke down that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could earn $2 million from speaking engagements and appearances, $3.5 million from sponsorships and brand deals and $4.5 million from media and content value.
The week-long tour kicked off in Melbourne, Australia, on Tuesday, with the couple visiting the Royal Children’s Hospital and Australian National Veterans Arts Museum. Meghan also visited the McAuley Community Services for Women.
On Wednesday, Harry visited the Movember HQ in Melbourne, as the couple also attended a reception for Invictus Australia, among other events.
The rest of the tour will include a Scar Tree Walk, a mental health event and an InterEdge Summit on Thursday, as well as sailing on Sydney Harbour with Invictus Australia and a rugby match the following day.
On Saturday, Markle will take part in a “Girl’s Weekend” for Her Best Life retreat. As Page Six reported, standard tickets are going for $2,699 a person.
For $3,199, attendees get a picture with the Markle, as the website boasts a “group table photo with Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.”
The two-night event takes place at the luxurious InterContinental Coogee Beach Resort.
The event will include a gala dinner, a session with therapist Dr. Justine Corry, meditation and manifestation, yoga and a sound healing experience.
King Charles III’s former butler, Grant Harrold, previously told Page Six that Markle and Harry have a right to make their own money after stepping down from their senior royal duties in 2020.
“I don’t think the King or other members of the Royal Family will take issue with this at all,” Harrold explained. “I think they are happy for her to focus on lifestyle and wellness as her future career. And being honest, I’m sure they would much rather Meghan made money from this than a tell-all book or yet another TV interview.
“We live in a modern world and the family must adapt. With Prince William wanting to move towards a Royal Family with a lower case ‘r,’ they will have to accept that members of their extended family will need to come up with other ways to earn cash.”
Page Six exclusively reported in March that Netflix has officially cut ties with her lifestyle brand, As Ever.
“Her show did not go on so it did not make sense to continue the partnership,” an industry source told Page Six, referring to her series, “With Love, Meghan,” which had two seasons on the streamer.
Markle, 44, and Harry, 41, signed a $100 million Netflix deal after parting ways with the royal family.
They released their successful 2023 documentary “Harry and Meghan.” But their “Polo” documentary and “With Love, Meghan” didn’t bring in as high numbers.
Ahead of the tour, Markle and Harry filed trademarks for her brand in Australia.
